Reserve Media Production and Makerspace Equipment
Reserve a time to use our equipment using the booking grid below.
Reservations require training. Training can be completed through the JMU Libraries Makerspace Canvas course. Reservations made without completing training will be denied.
Visit the Makery at your scheduled time and location. The Carrier Makery is located on the 2nd floor of Carrier Library. The Rose Makery is located on the 1st floor of Rose Library.
Instructions:
- Review the grid below to find an available time in your preferred location. Advanced reservation is required. You may need to select a date in the future.
- Select a start time by clicking on the grid.
- A dropdown will appear below the grid in order for you to select an end time.
- Click the Trashcan icon to cancel or click Submit Times to complete a form and complete the reservation request.
Reservation requests must be reviewed by a staff member before approval or denial. Approvals are made Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm. You will receive two emails: the first verifying that you've submitted a booking request, followed by a second email confirming or denying your booking.
