Description
In this workshop, we will walk through a simple sewing project using the Bernina sewing machines at the Rose Library Makery. You'll explore the basic functions of the sewing machines and some of the sewing accessories available for use in the Libraries. The skills and techniques we will use can be applied to our many different settings and machines. This is an excellent workshop for someone who is new to sewing or looking for a refresher on some of the foundations.
Objectives
Participants will learn to
- Cut fabric with a rotary cutter, iron, pin, and sew simple seams.
