Intro to AudiAnnotate: A Tool for Transcribing and Annotating Audiovisual Content

Evan Sizemore

In this workshop, you’ll get an overview of how JMU Libraries and Furious Flower are using AudiAnnotate, which is a project aimed at libraries, archives, and museums who want to transcribe, annotate, and share audiovisual content online.

Hear about the project’s history & workflow, see the tools involved in its creation, and watch a demo of the annotation viewer in action. Learn the basics of using AudiAnnotate tools and workflows to annotate and publish audiovisual assets online.

In-person attendance is capped at 48 (first come first served). The session will also be offered simultaneously on Zoom.
