Description

Instructional videos are a powerful tool to enhance learning, both in-person and online. They can sometimes lose their effectiveness in teaching due to common mistakes. This session will address all the areas to think about in creating videos for learning before you pick up a camera. Participants will leave the session having confidence in their knowledge to begin creating their own instructional videos.

  • Understand how learners’ brains work and how videos can aid in learning.
  • Identify guidelines that aid in effective video learning.
  • Discuss common pitfalls within instructional videos and how to overcome those challenges.
