Description

In this Virtual Workshop we will go over the basics on 3D modeling, how to design something specifically for 3D printing, how to prepare a 3D model for printing, and how to use a free design software, called TinkerCad.

Objectives

Participants will

  • Learn the fundamentals of 3D printing
  • Learn the basics of 3D design in TinkerCad (a web based 3D modeling software)
  • Import and export files in Cura (a slicing software)
