Description

Audacity is an audio editing program available for Windows, MacOS, and Linux computers. You can use it to record and edit audio like spoken word pieces, interviews, podcasts, music, etc. It's free and open-source, and has a large user-base with a lot of tutorials and documentation available on-line.

Objectives

Participants will

Record audio from a microphone

  • Import audio from a file
  • Adjust volume levels
  • Edit for clarity/style/time
  • Export audio to a file
