We promote inquiry-based approaches with flexibility, and offer a mixture of expertise from experienced faculty, instructional designers, and media consultants.  

Potential topics for each session, which can be adapted to your needs, include:

  • Zoom essentials, settings, and best practices 
  • Student group work with online options 
  • Creating video lectures 
  • Assessment strategies and techniques in Canvas 
  • Student-centered learning and large-class engagement strategies 
  • Closed captioning video lectures 

Objectives

  • Assist faculty in setting up fall 2021 courses for success
  • Provide an opportunity for faculty to ask questions specific to their course needs
  • Focus faculty attention on making courses interactive, collaborative, and accessible
