This is an overview of 3D scanning technologies available at JMU, with a demonstration of the high end 3D scanners from Artec.
The field of 3D scanning technologies is still emerging, from Apple’s face ID cameras, to low-end structured light scanners, to the very expensive and high resolution Artec Leo scanner. Come see what’s available at JMU, see a demo, and ask questions about how 3D scanning and modeling can enhance your digital scholarship.
