Description

In this quick transition to online learning, student academic continuity and connection with the JMU community become the essence of learning assessment. What are some assessment strategies that can keep our students inclusively engaged, even in the sudden transition and possibly unevenly distributed technologies and resources? How can online asynchronous options like orchestrated discussion, inclusive participation in group work, open-book assessment, and place-based learning activities possibly encourage and enable student academic continuity? Strategies and practical methods will be shared, demonstrated and co-discovered with the participants.
