Learn about a free online tool that lets you add annotations and create a conversation layer over the entire internet. Hypothes.is allows you to hold discussions, read socially, organize research, and take personal notes. As a classroom tool, use hypothes.is to create online group discussions about text, images, videos, and more. 

We recommend that you bring your own laptop so you can set up your Hypothes.is account on your own device during our workshop. No laptop? No worries! We will also provide laptops to use.

Objectives

Participants will:

• Set up a free Hypothes.is account
• Understand how to use Hypothes.is in individual and group settings
• Identify types of online activities that are enhanced by using hypothes.is
