Description

Opportunities to reflect on service learning experiences and connect them to curricular content are essential for meaningful, high-impact learning. In this workshop, participants will explore best practices, examples, and ideas for developing learning outcomes and activities to advance the goals of their courses, as well as ways to evaluate and demonstrate student learning, with colleagues from the Community Service-Learning office, the JMU Libraries, and other faculty. Participants will share ideas, discuss challenges, and apply specific approaches and practices to their own classrooms.
