With so many types of journals to publish in, it can be difficult to choose the one that will be a good fit for your manuscript and be a reliable publication that will reach a large audience. Come learn some new strategies and informatics tools to help you navigate the journal selection process.

Objectives

  • Be able to identify traits of reputable and predatory open access publishing
  • Learn skills and tools that can help evaluate the quality of a journal
  • Know about journal recommendation tools and how to use them in order to find good matches for your manuscript
