Description
Do you want to learn to knit?
Do you want to collaborate with others to create something special for a local immigrant family?
Each participant will learn three knitting stitches -cast on, basic knit and bind off – to create an 8-inch square. At the end of the workshop, the squares will be knit together to form a beautiful blanket that will be donated to a local immigrant family as a gesture of welcome to our community.
All materials will be provided and each participant will have the option of signing a welcome card that will be given with the blanket.
