Description

Come learn about KnightLab's innovative suite of open-source, adaptable, and lightweight tools for media makers. The session will give you everything you need to help your students make digital information more meaningful through the creation of quality journalism, storytelling, and original content. The workshop will specifically focus on Juxtapose, Soundsite, Timeline, and the newly released Scene VR that supports students and faculty interested in making Virtual Reality stories! Objectives

  • Participants will gain an awareness of KnightLab tools including Juxtapose, Soundsite, Timeline, and Scene VR
  • Participants will explore the tools associated with each piece of software
  • Participants will engage in the pedagogy and instructional design needed to engage students with each tool
  • Participants will set goals about using KnigthLab with students in future course
