Whether you’re improving existing materials or developing new content, we can help you implement best practices in digital accessibility, from document formatting and multimedia captioning to course design and platform navigation.

By joining this office hour, you will receive:

  • Supportive guidance as you develop or edit accessible documents, presentations, and multimedia

  • An overview of JMU’s training, resources, and guides for digital accessibility

  • An opportunity to collaborate and learn with and from colleagues across disciplines

Why it matters:

Recent updates to Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act mean that faculty have new responsibilities in ensuring that digital course materials are accessible to all students. Your efforts help support JMU students with disabilities—and improve the educational experience for all JMU students.
