Enhancing Course Accessibility Using Anthology Ally
Event box

Discover how Anthology Ally, a new accessibility checker integrated into Canvas at JMU, can help you create more inclusive and accessible courses. Ally helps instructors identify course materials that need improvement and provides students with alternative file formats (e.g., audio, ePub, HTML) based on their needs.
In this information session, you'll:
- Explore Ally's core features and how they support inclusive teaching practices
- Learn how to enhance the accessibility of your course materials with Ally
- See how Ally supports JMU’s digital accessibility goals and serves as one of the ways we can help you prepare to meet the April 24, 2026 deadline for campus compliance with updated regulations in Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
