Intro to Laser Cutting
Make something of your own using the Glowforge laser cutter. You'll learn how to create a personalized laser cut key chain using Adobe Illustrator and the Glowforge web interface. Your completed key chain will be available to take with you when the workshop is over.
In this workshop, you will learn:
- How the Glowforge Lasercutter works
- The basics of the materials used (wood, acrylic, leather)
- How to use the Adobe Illustrator tools for a successful laser cut
- How to save and upload the file to the Glowforge app
- How to safely use the Glowforge laser cutter
