Exhibit Opening Reception: "Experiencing Analysis: New Perspectives"
Event box

This exhibit showcases the work of students in Dr. Judith Ofcarcik’s graduate music theory seminar. Each project analyzes a piece of music in a new and creative way, from an interactive video to a multi-course meal. The projects are a response to the math- and science-focused visualizations traditionally used in the field, seeking to engage both professional musicians and music lovers more deeply with the analyses and the music that inspired them.
Join us for the exhibit opening reception in the Music Library (on the Quad) on Friday, September 12, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Refreshments will be provided. No registration required—just drop by! Visit our website for information about the Music Library or parking near JMU Libraries.
