Faculty Forum: Exploring Generative Artificial Intelligence in Teaching & Learning

Join fellow JMU faculty from a variety of disciplines in this interactive forum to share how you have incorporated generative AI into your teaching and student learning—and hear from others. This session will highlight real-world applications, successes, and challenges in leveraging AI tools for student learning. Whether you're new to AI or already integrating it into your courses, this open forum offers a collaborative space for discussion, idea-sharing, and cross-college engagement.

By participating in this forum, you will:

  • Discover how faculty across disciplines are integrating (or choosing not to integrate) generative AI into their courses.
  • Exchange and develop strategies for responsibly incorporating AI into your own courses to enhance student engagement and critical thinking.
  • Build a network of colleagues interested in the intersection of AI and pedagogy.
