Create Open Course Materials with Pressbooks
Event box
Looking for a way to publish a textbook, open access book, white paper, or technical report? Join this virtual workshop to learn about Pressbooks, which is ideal for publishing openly licensed teaching, learning, and scholarship materials as an e-book. Pressbooks also allows instructors to tailor course materials to specific learning outcomes and to inclusion and equity goals. Learn more about what "openly licensed" means on our Open Education page.
In this workshop, you'll learn when and why Pressbooks is the appropriate tool for a project, review the JMU Libraries' Guidelines and project planner, and explore the platform and its important features.
