Introduction to Audio Editing with Audacity

Get an introduction to Audacity, a free and open-source tool for recording and editing audio for podcasts, interviews, oral histories, music, and more. Available for Windows, MacOS, and Linux computers, Audacity has a large user base with a lot of tutorials and documentation available online. 

This workshop is held on Zoom. To reserve your spot, scroll down and select the Begin Registration button.

In this workshop, you'll learn to:

  • Record audio from a microphone
  • Import audio from a file
  • Adjust volume levels
  • Edit for clarity, style, and length
  • Export audio to a file
