Hear about the intersections of feminism and environmentalism in the 20th century at this talk by Dr. Robert Musil, President of the Rachel Carson Council. Dr. Musil will discuss his book, Rachel Carson and Her Sisters: Extraordinary Women Who Have Shaped America's Environment.
All students, staff, faculty, and community members are welcome to join us on February 28 at 5:30 in Rose Library (3rd floor) to learn about an aspect of the history of environmentalism and have the opportunity to ask questions of the author.
Co-hosted by JMU Libraries, JMU Institute for Stewardship of the Natural World, and A Book for the 'Burg.
