Peer Assisted Study Sessions for BIO 290
Event box
Peer Assisted Study Sessions (P.A.S.S.) is a student-facilitated academic support program designed to help you improve your performance and retention in specific courses. What makes P.A.S.S. unique is that the session leaders have successfully completed the course with the same professor.
During the sessions, you will review lecture notes, course content, practice problems, worksheets, tests and quizzes. The sessions are free, voluntary, and open to the entire student population of each designated course, regardless of knowledge or ability level.
PASS is a JMU Libraries partnership with the JMU Learning Centers. JMU Libraries welcomes partnerships and collaborations with University units to expand or enhance student learning opportunities. If you have questions about an existing library partner or are interested in learning more about library partnerships, please contact Kristen Shuyler at shuyleks@jmu.edu.
