Description

Audacity is a free, open-source, multitrack audio editing application that can be used to record lecture narration, listening assignments, and student feedback.

In this workshop, we will demonstrate how to download and install Audacity, navigate the user interface, record live audio, and import existing audio files. We will cover how to perform basic editing tasks such as copying and pasting audio, splitting clips, removing background noise, and exporting.

Note: If you plan on downloading Audacity before the workshop, please download the application from the software’s official website at www.audacityteam.org/download.
