Description

In this session, we will dive into Social Explorer, a web-based map generation tool free to JMU users. Learn how you can use Social Explorer to visualize demographic data, promote the examination of diversity, and encourage global learning by uncovering patterns in the numbers.

Objectives

Participants will:

  • Create an interactive map using current or historical census data
  • Investigate different methods of sharing graphics and exporting raw data
