Description

Otter, EVA Voicea, Office 365 Dictate … these emerging tools can convert our voice to text with the automated transcription functions driven by artificial intelligence (AI). How can these AI-driven tools support and enhance teaching, learning, and research? How can these tools be relevant to instructional design for accessibility and inclusivity? In this 2-hour sandbox, we will play with mobile devices and explore answers to these questions.

Objectives

At the completion of the session, the participants will be able to:

  • Identify functions of AI-driven note-taking tools on mobile devices.
  • Explore the accessibility potential of these AI note-taking tools.
  • Evaluate potential application of these AI-driven note taking tools in academia.
