Description

The Digital Projects and Pedagogy Fellowship is a cross-disciplinary program with eight face-to-face, bi-weekly sessions. During the sessions faculty will engage with a variety of materials, resources, and experts to explore the convergence of digital scholarship and digital pedagogy.

Drawing from the fellowship model, each faculty member will have the opportunity to explore his/her own areas of interest, while contributing to a collaborative and supportive community. Each participant will be required to design and develop a project to be implemented in a subsequent semester, with the guidance and support of the Libraries’ Digital Projects and Pedagogy team. The specific goals and outcomes of individual projects will vary, but participants will be expected to integrate digital scholarship and digital pedagogy to create a project that fosters civic and/or community. The project is broad in the sense that participants may choose to redesign a course, modify or create assignments, or produce scholarship. As a final piece to the fellowship experience, faculty will evaluate their project and share their experiences.
