Description

Join us in JMU’s 3D printing classroom 3SPACE to learn the basics of 3D design by making and 3D printing your own object. We will explore 3D printing as a teaching and learning tool and utilize TinkerCad, a cloud-based 3D design software to create our designs.

Objectives

  • Explore the history and uses of 3D printing
  • Practice designing objects in 3D using a free online program called TinkerCad
  • 3D print an object you design!
