Description

Come to learn using WebEx for enhancing teaching with interactivity: WebEx is a CISCO web-based video conferencing system that enables audio, video, and text-based communication in an online meeting room through the connections of computers, tablets, smartphones, and Internet. The host or presenter of a meeting or training session will also be able to present to remote audience online as if in a real brick-and-mortar classroom. In some presentations, the presenter can share the screen or application on her/his computer, or allow a participant to remotely access her/his computer applications, for instance, editing a Word document collaboratively, simultaneously, and remotely.

Objectives

  • Recognize the teaching and learning potential of web-based video conferencing
  • Identify and practice essential features of WebEx
  • Evaluate the use of WebEx in teaching and learning
