Description

The Madison Fellowship for Digital Teaching and Learning encourages a sustaining commitment among faculty to teaching and learning with technology when doing so promises to enrich the educational experience. Borrowing from the fellowship model in which scholars benefit from casual interaction, peer review, and resources and experts made available, our program will strive to foster a shared sense of purpose and commitment, but enable each participant to explore their areas of interest. During each session there will be some structured group time, but mostly it will be unstructured and fellows can choose to use the time as they see fit. Participants may choose to use their fellowship as an opportunity to design a new course, redesign an existing one, or modify their assignments, lectures, or other aspects across several of their courses.
