Voting is one of the great privileges we have as American citizens - but how do you choose a candidate? Do you know who your candidates are, or what their platforms are? This workshop won't tell you who to vote for, but we will talk about strategies for you to investigate, assess, and learn more about the elections that impact you so you can make a more informed vote.

After taking this workshop, you will be able to:

• Locate sample ballots for your upcoming elections
• Learn more about candidates and issues up for election using library-subscribed databases
• Investigate voting records of your sitting candidates up for re-election
