Celebrate Homecoming and alumni authors with a special event featuring JMU alumna and author Rachel McRady!

The Stories We Carry: An Evening with Author Rachel McRady (’11) will take place on October 15, 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the East Campus Dining Hall (Montpelier Room).

Sign up now for an evening with McRady, an Emmy Award-winning writer, editor, and author of the acclaimed debut novel, Sun Seekers.

Begin the evening with a reception featuring hors d’oeuvres and the opportunity to meet the author. Then settle in for a moderated conversation exploring her journey from JMU student to award-winning journalist and novelist, the experiences that shaped her career, and the creative process behind bringing Sun Seekers to life.
