Introduction to Audio Editing with Audacity

Get an introduction to a free tool for recording and editing audio for podcasts, interviews, oral histories, music, and more. Audacity, which is available for Windows, MacOS, and Linux computers, is an open-source tool with a large user base and a lot of tutorials available online.

In this workshop, you'll learn to:

  • Record audio from a microphone
  • Import audio from a file
  • Adjust volume levels
  • Edit audio files for clarity, style, and length
  • Export audio to a file
