You may be aware that Microsoft OneNote is one of the leading free note-taking applications for free-form information gathering and multi-user collaboration, but did you know that more than one student can work on the same page at the same time allowing the instructor to use OneNote as a shared whiteboard environment? We will give you everything you need to know about using OneNote with students from how to create individual journals to how to set up group projects that can be exported and submitted through Canvas.

Objectives

  • Create individual and shared OneNote notebooks
  • Gain awareness of the wide variety of tools for collecting and organizing information
  • Engage in conversation about how to integrated OneNote into instruction
