Description

Taking actions toward applying universal design principles in instructional design will lead to more accessible instructional content. Join us to learn about technologies and best practices. At this session, we will develop an accessible syllabus and practice adding captions to video. Bring your syllabus and/or a short video piece (2-5 minutes) for hands-on project creation.

Objectives

  • Identify essentials of universal design principle in instructional design
  • Review and compare technologies and tools that enable media accessibility to users
  • Practice essential procedure to apply captions to instructional video
