Join us for this informal workshop and learn how you can meet online to chat about your class, share a presentation or website, or review a syllabus together - effortlessly. Feel free to bring your own laptop for this hands-on workshop.

Objectives:

  • Identify the uses and benefits of synchronous learning in an online course or for virtual office hours
  • Describe how to use Google Hangouts
  • Apply synchronous tools (Google Hangouts) to increase student engagement in online courses or to increase student presence during virtual office hours
