Description

JMU has a classroom equipped with 3D printers where students have the opportunity to learn by making. Join us for this interactive session to learn the basics of using a 3D printer, incorporating into your course, and the different ways to make including downloading, scanning, or designing 3D objects to print. There will be time included for your to print your own objects.

Objectives

  • Explore the history and uses of 3D printing
  • Identify possibilities for 3D printing in your discipline
  • Learn the safety requirements for using a 3D printer
  • 3D print an object!
